May 15, 2010 No CommentsThe New GOTCHA’ Music Series – sponsored by Hot Cherry Records & Chicks with Guitars, had it’s Kick-Off Launch Party on May 14th in NYC.
The show was billed as, “A night of high-energy Pop, Rock, Americana & Alternative music with surprises, perhaps even culminating with a few impromptu collaborative moments to highlight the night.” Little did Nicola realize one of those surprises would be a wardrobe malfunction – lights melting the glue off one of her eyelashes. Or maybe it wasn’t just the lights, she’s definitely got sizzle of her own. And full of grace, sloughing off the spider-like applique with a chuckle and not a moment off beat.
Opening the night was the Rachel Platten on piano -Her movie-star grin and girlish charm make her fun to watch – but her songwriting talents and vocal skills will have you shushing your neighbors so you don’t miss a moment.
