Photos: Brandi Carlile at Newport Folk Festival

For me, George Wein’s Newport Folk Festival was all about catching Brandi Carlile live. Her self-titled debut album is still one of my favorites, and one of those albums where I like every song, I never have the urge to turn it off or skip a track. And by the looks of her 2010 tour schedule in support of her third album, Give Up the Ghost, she’s not turning off any time before the end of the year.
